Jason Roehrich

Jason earned his HVAC degree from Southeast Technical Institute and began his career at Active Heating as a service technician and project foreman, building a strong technical foundation early on.

Today, he focuses on commercial and residential estimating and full project management.

 

Jason is active in the community through the Watertown Lions Club and the Codington County Pro Pheasants Board of Directors, and he is also a member of Holy Name Parish.

When he’s off the clock, Jason enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending time with his family - Valerie, Brynn, and Faith.

Dustin Flatten

Dustin graduated from Augustana College with degrees in Professional Accountancy and Business Administration. Before joining Active Heating, he worked as a CPA specializing in business and personal taxation experience that strengthens the way he leads our team.

He’s committed to improving service for our customers, supporting our employees, and giving back to the community. Dustin serves on the Boards of Directors for the Watertown Development Company and the Watertown Baseball Association, and is a member of the Watertown Rotary and Holy Name Parish.

Outside of work, he enjoys coaching youth baseball, hunting, and spending time with his family—Jenny, Max, and Wilkes.

Eric Miles

Eric earned his associate’s degree in Utilities Technology from Mitchell Technical Institute and has worked in the plumbing and heating industry since 2005. Before joining Active Heating, he served as a project foreman, leading both commercial and residential projects.

As part owner of the plumbing division, he focuses on estimating, project management, and supporting field work when needed. Eric is a member of PWGC and has volunteered as a youth baseball and flag football coach.

Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family, hunting, fishing, and golf. Eric and his wife, Angela, have four boys -Brekken, Briggs, Brogan, and Bridger.

Don Roehrich

Don founded Active Heating, Inc. in 1978 after earning his HVAC degree from Wahpeton Community College and gaining hands-on experience as a service technician. His decades of leadership and expertise helped shape Active Heating into the trusted company it is today, with experience spanning commercial HVAC, residential design, installation, and service.

Deeply committed to the communities we serve, Don has been involved with the Watertown Development Company Board of Directors, Holy Name Parish, and several civic organizations over the years.

Now retired, Don enjoys spending his time hunting, fishing, traveling, and being with his wife, Janet, along with their children and grandchildren.
